Here is a wall mount coat rack made out of solid red oak hard wood that I personally have milled and shaped. The red oak is 3/4" to 7/8" inches thick and the whole unit weighs 11 pounds. It sports a reclaimed retro mirror (of which I can't remember where I obtained it) cut in two sections (12" x 6") and required a little repair work.
The red oak has been stained with English Chestnut stain and spray coated with semi-gloss lacquer. It comes with four 2-1/2" mounting screws - enough to protrude through the red oak mounting plate and 1/2" sheet rock with plenty of screw left over for a wall stud. Speaking of which, there are two pairs of mounting holes under the main shelf. The holes of each set are 16" apart ideal for wall stud separation distance.
Coat rack dimensions:
depth: 4-1/8 (main body) and 5-1/4" for the shelf.
This is a very well constructed unit which uses dado groves, splines, and oak dial rods - there are no screws or nails holding it together. The mirrors are installed from the back and are held in place with silicon. They can easily be replaced if broken.
The preferable payment method is through Paypal. Credit cards are also accepted.
